If you do any kind of driving, you'll end up with a lot of bugs splattered all over the front of your car pretty quickly. It's easy to ignore them, but if left there, the acidic organic material left on your paint can etch your clear coat and create tiny rust spots that can't be removed.

Typical bug removal protects contain heavy duty degreasers to lift the bugs from the paint, but often end up being just as damaging to your car as what they're cleaning. hyperCLEAN's BUG uses advanced polymer based chemistry instead to melt away the bugs without any negative interactions with paint and coatings.

Why Do Canadians Need It?

They might not be there year round, but Canada's humid climate creates thriving insect populations that can etch into your car's clear coat if left unchecked. hyperCLEAN BUG works fast without a lot of work involved and is one of the perfect spot check detailing habits to get into first.

How Do I Use It?

  1. Shake well before use.

  2. Spray directly onto bug splatter or contaminated panels.

  3. Allow to dwell for about one minute — avoid direct sunlight when possible.

  4. Rinse thoroughly.

  5. Repeat if needed, or use light agitation with a microfiber towel for heavy buildup.

The cleaner

Bugs off, everything else intact

BUG uses advanced polymer technology to dissolve bug splatter off paint, glass, and trim without the harsh degreasers that traditional bug removers rely on.

It is the safe answer to the highway grille, and it works before the acids in the bugs get a chance to etch your finish.

The highway grille problem, solved safely.

The difference

Polymers instead of punishment

Most bug removers are degreasers strong enough to strip wax, dull trim, and stress your coating. BUG dissolves the proteins with polymer chemistry instead, so it is safe on waxes, sealants, PPF, and ceramic coatings.

No harsh chemical burn, no bug stain left behind, no damage to the surfaces around the mess.

Safe on PPF, coatings, wax, and trim.

The application

Let the dwell do the work

Shake the bottle, spray the splatter, and let it dwell for about a minute, out of direct sun if possible. Rinse and repeat if needed.

For a baked on summer front end, light agitation with a towel or wash pad finishes the job. The sooner after the drive, the easier it goes.

Spray, wait a minute, rinse. Repeat for the baked on ones.

Questions people actually ask

Why not just wash them off?

Fresh ones, sure. Baked on bug splatter bonds to the surface and the acids start etching clear coat within days. BUG dissolves them before the damage happens.

Is it safe on PPF and coatings?

Yes. The polymer formula was specifically designed to skip the harsh degreasers that stress film and coatings.

How long do I let it dwell?

About a minute, out of direct sunlight. Heavy contamination can take a second pass with light agitation.

Can I use it on the windshield?

Yes, it works on glass, and following with Glass Cleaner leaves the windshield perfect.

When should I use it?

As soon after the highway run as you can. The difference between same day and next week is the difference between a rinse and a project.

Highway trips without the aftermath.

Keep BUG in the garage for the day the front end comes home wearing the evidence.
