SLIQ might be hyperCLEAN's most celebrated product. It adds gloss and slickness to any uncoated car, and refreshes ceramic coatings between washes. Silica sprays are popular but known to be difficult to work with, often smearing and marring if the conditions aren't just right.

SLIQ completely fixes that issue, adding instant slickness, clarity, and depth to paint, glass, and trim while leaving a completely streak-free finish. But SLIQ also has another secret use that pro detailers have found over the years: When added all over a car before the final rinse, SLIQ adds as the best drying agent on the market by allowing water to bead and sheet off the car as it's rinsed.

Why Do Canadians Need It?

Silica sprays are known to struggle in cold or humid climates, basically anywhere in Canada. SLIQ completely solves that problem with its streak-free formula. Additionally, using this product as a drying agent allows you to clean your car longer during the year, even in near freezing temperature since water never sits on the car long enough to freeze.

How Do I Use It?

  1. Shake well. Activate the formula before every use.

  2. Apply to wet or dry panels. Spray a few mists directly onto the panel or your microfiber towel.

  3. Wipe evenly. Spread the product using gentle, overlapping motions.

  4. Flip and finish. Turn your towel to a dry side and buff until perfectly clear.

The spray

Ceramic slickness in a trigger bottle

SLIQ is a silica spray that leaves genuine SiO2 protection on the surface with unmatched gloss and depth. It is the fastest way to add real beading to an unprotected car, and the perfect maintenance layer for a coated one.

Drying aid, coating topper, standalone sealant. One bottle, all three jobs.

Real silica protection from a trigger bottle.

The difference

The streak free silica spray

The classic complaint about silica sprays is the streaking and smearing they leave behind. SLIQ was the first completely streak free silica spray on the market, and version 2.0 pushed the gloss and protection further.

UV inhibitors protect the finish from the sun, and the formula works over coatings, waxes, and sealants without conflict.

All the silica, none of the smearing.

The application

Easiest on wet paint

The best time is right after a wash. Spray onto the wet car, spread, and dry as normal. The towel glides, the water sheets, and the car dries protected.

On dry paint, mist a panel, spread, and buff. Windows, rims, and trim all take it happily.

Spray on the wet car and let the towel do the rest.

Questions people actually ask

Is SLIQ a replacement for a ceramic coating?

It is the gateway. SLIQ gives you months of real silica protection in minutes. A bottle coating gives you years. Most coated cars still use SLIQ as their maintenance topper.

How often should I apply it?

As a drying aid every few washes, or monthly as a standalone. When the beading slows down, it is time.

Wet or dry application?

Wet is easiest, sprayed on after the rinse and worked in as you dry. Dry application works too, panel by panel with a buff.

Will it streak on glass?

No, and it is actually great on exterior glass, adding water behavior that helps visibility.

Does it interfere with my coating?

The opposite. High quality silica is exactly what a ceramic coating wants as a top up layer.

Protection that fits in a wash day.

Spray SLIQ on the wet car, dry as normal, and drive off protected. It is that simple.
