Cleanse is a purpose built car shampoo to be added to your wash process before paint protection film or a ceramic coating. It's also a great way to "reset" a coating that has taken a beating.

Why Do Canadians Need It?

Canadian roads sure know how to make a car super dirty. Most heavy cleaners will strip protection or dull the finish, but not Cleanse, it's the perfect car shampoo to use on a seriously dirty car without affecting any protection on the paint.

How Do I Use It?

  1. Add 1–2 ounces of Cleanse to your foam cannon and wash bucket.

  2. Pre-rinse the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose debris.

  3. Foam the surface generously and let the shampoo dwell briefly.

  4. Wash using the one-bucket method and high-quality microfiber or mitt.

  5. Rinse completely — Cleanse leaves zero residue or silicones behind.

The shampoo

The wash that resets your paint

Cleanse is a purifying prep shampoo that strips oil, traffic film, and road grime from the surface without the harshness of alkaline shampoos that can dull your finish.

It is the first step before any coating, correction, or PPF work, and the fastest way to bring a neglected ceramic coating back to life.

A deep clean without harsh alkaline chemistry.

The difference

Nothing left behind to interfere

Most soaps leave residue, silicones, or gloss agents on the paint. That film is invisible until your coating will not bond or your polish skips across the surface.

Cleanse rinses completely clean. Modern surfactants do the deep cleaning, intense lubrication keeps the wash safe, and what is left behind is nothing at all.

Rinses completely clean. That is the whole point.

The application

Wash like normal, prep like a pro

Use Cleanse exactly like a regular shampoo, in a bucket or foam cannon, with a quality wash pad. The lubrication keeps the wash swirl free while the surfactants strip everything that should not be on the paint.

Follow with Fuego for iron, then Wipe for the final pass, and your paint is genuinely ready for whatever comes next.

Bucket or foam cannon, then let the surfactants work.

Questions people actually ask

When should I use Cleanse instead of a normal soap?

Before any coating, polish, or PPF work, and any time the car is filthy enough to need a proper reset. For maintenance washes on a coated car, use Foam Wash instead.

Will it strip my ceramic coating?

No. It strips waxes, sealants, and grime, but a bonded ceramic coating stays put. It is actually the recommended way to deep clean a coating that has stopped beading.

Does it work in a foam cannon?

Yes, it foams well and works equally in a bucket. Use it however you normally wash.

Why does residue matter so much?

Because coatings bond to paint, not to soap film. Invisible residue is the most common reason a coating underperforms its rated durability.

16oz or Gallon?

The 16oz handles plenty of washes. The gallon is for people who prep cars regularly or share a garage.

Start every job on bare paint.

Wash with Cleanse and give your coating, polish, or film the clean start it needs to perform.
