Wipe removes the oils and residue that stand between your paint and whatever comes next. Polish oils, fingerprints, and cleaner residue all come off, leaving genuinely bare paint.
It is the final prep before ceramic coating, PPF, wax, or sealant, and the step that decides whether they bond like they should.

No. Straight IPA flashes too fast and leaves your towel dragging on bare paint. Wipe blends pure alcohols with lubricants so it cleans fully without marring.
When do I actually need it?

Will it strip my existing coating?
No. It removes surface oils and residue, not bonded ceramic protection.
