It's great for enthusiasts who want a longer lasting ceramic coating they can apply in their garage, but it's also a secret weapon for professionals looking for the easiest application of a 9H hardness coating on the market.
DOS gives you the edge on Canadian winters: its thicker layer and high hardness rating mean better resistance to harsh winters, while the slower beading makes it easier to apply in cooler conditions.
How Do I Use It?

Prep thoroughly. Decontaminate using the Clay Mitt and Fuego. If needed, polish by hand or machine.

Load your pad. Apply 10–15 drops of DOS to the applicator.

Apply evenly. Work in overlapping straight-line passes in a 2 × 2 ft area or follow body lines.

Watch for sweating. When the coating starts to “sweat” or bead, it’s ready to level.

Level and finish. Wipe with the Leveler Towel, then follow with the VersaTowel to remove any remaining residue.

Let it cure. Avoid water for 12–24 hours after application.

Be patient. Wait 7–14 days before washing for best results.

DOS was formulated with a slower flash time than most coatings in its class. That means more working time before it needs to level, which is exactly what you want when you are coating a whole car in your own garage.

The application
One afternoon for two years
Decontaminate the paint first, polish if it needs correction, then wipe it down so the surface is bare. Apply 10 to 15 drops to the pad and work in overlapping straight passes, one 2 foot section at a time.
When the coating sweats or beads, level it with a towel and give it a final buff. Keep the car dry while it cures and you are set for the next two years.

Is DOS harder to apply than UNO?
Not really. The routine is identical and the slower flash time actually gives you more room to work. If you have waxed a car, you can do this.
Why choose DOS over UNO?
Time. UNO gives you one year. DOS gives you two and beyond, with a harder 9H surface and deeper gloss. If you plan to keep the car, the second year pays for the difference.
Do I need to polish first?
Only if the paint has swirls you want gone, because the coating locks in whatever is under it. Decon and panel prep are the non negotiable steps.
50mL or 100mL?
50mL covers a sedan with careful application. 100mL gives you headroom for a truck or SUV, or a second vehicle.
How do I maintain it?
Wash with a pH neutral soap like Foam Wash and top the slickness up with SLIQ a few times a year. That is the whole maintenance plan.
