Ceramic coatings form a chemical bond with the surface they're applied on. So no, you can't just apply any regular coating to trim. The fact that this product even exists is proof of hyperCLEAN's dedication to creating products perfect for every part of your car.
Why Do Canadians Need It?
In Canada, it's common for black plastics to go gray within a single winter. TRIM seals out oxidation and road film before they can even start. Along with Trim cleaner, it's the perfect way to revive and protect auto trim to its intended colour and texture.
How Do I Use It?
-
Prep properly. Clean thoroughly with hyperCLEAN Trim Cleaner and ensure the surface is dry.
-
Shake well. Activate the formula before use.
-
Apply thinly. Add a few drops of TRIM onto your applicator pad and spread a thin, even coat.
-
Let it bond. Allow 5–10 minutes for the coating to settle and bond.
-
Level gently. Use a clean microfiber towel to smooth the finish and remove excess product.
-
Cure. Avoid water for 12–24 hours for maximum durability.
The coating
Faded trim, permanently fixed
TRIM is a nano ceramic coating that restores dull, discolored plastic, vinyl, and rubber trim to a deep satin finish, then locks that finish in for years.
It is the permanent answer to the gray, chalky trim that makes an otherwise clean car look tired. Bumpers, moldings, mirrors, grilles, cowls, and door handles all come back to life.

The difference
A coating, not a dressing
Trim dressings look great for a week, wash off, and need doing again. TRIM forms an ultra hydrophobic ceramic barrier that repels water, blocks UV, and stands up to road grime and wash chemicals season after season.
Once coated, trim wipes clean effortlessly and the finish stays uniform instead of going patchy between applications.

The application
Clean it deep, coat it once
Start with TRIM Cleaner to strip the oxidation and old product buildup out of the plastic, then wipe the surface bare. Apply the coating evenly, panel by panel, and let it cure.
The deep clean matters more on trim than anywhere else, because years of dressings leave residue that blocks adhesion. Clean properly and the coating bonds for years.

Questions people actually ask
Will it fix badly faded trim?
Yes, that is the core use case. The coating permanently revitalizes dull and discolored plastic, and the finish is a deep satin rather than an oily shine.
How is this different from a dressing?
A dressing sits on top and washes away. TRIM is a nano ceramic coating that bonds to the plastic and keeps protecting through washes, rain, and summer sun.
Do I really need TRIM Cleaner first?
If the trim has ever seen a dressing, yes. Old product buildup blocks adhesion, and the cleaner is designed specifically to strip it and prep the surface.
How long does it last?
Years on vertical trim with normal washing. High contact areas like door handles may want a touch up sooner.
Can I use it on interior trim?
It is formulated for exterior plastics, vinyl, and rubber. For interior surfaces, use IMPRESS.
The trim stops aging today.
